Artists Bio

Stephanie Jenkins is a freelance landscape photographer. Stephanie was born on Valentine’s Day in Sacramento, CA.  She moved to New Mexico in 1975, and has since been a resident of Albuquerque. Stephanie is a self-taught, emerging photographer who was introduced to the art by a dear friend in 2010. Since 2010 Stephanie has had many unique opportunities to travel the US and photograph a wide variety of subject matter. Her first love was floral photography, and that led her to landscape photography which gave her an appreciation for architectural and industrial art photography. She invites you take a moment to relax and enjoy the images found here on the website. Stephanie hopes her images will compel others to take special notice of the perfection and beauty of the earth we have been so blessed with.

Artists Statement

I was introduced to photography at the ripe old age of 43. I was immediately drawn to the miraculous perfection and beauty of the natural and manmade wonders of our world. I was perplexed that I had somehow rushed right past this perfection and beauty so abundant on our planet. As I slowed down and took notice, I found myself in the middle of an explosion of emotions. Peace and solace flooding my body the more I took notice of the fine details. I am stunned daily by the immense joy I find in the mirror-like reflection on a lake that looks like glass, the broad spectrum of rich colors in an amazing sunrise or sunset or the crazy colors in the rust on the side of a silo when the sun hits it just right. I want to pay this special gift forward through my photos because photography has enriched my life in ways I can only truly convey through my photos.

  • Kodak Professional Endura Premier Metallic papers used
  • Bold, rich blacks for better contrast
  • Strong bright colors; especially greens, blues, yellows and cyans

Canvas Prints:

  • Your canvas is printed on archival quality canvas with a UV coating for added protection
  • Solid wood construction with tight 90 degree corners
  • Arrives ready to hang with a completely finished black mat board, wall bumpers and a saw tooth or wire hanger

    Aluminyzed Prints:

If a picture says a thousand words, an Aluminyzed print will leave you SPEECHLESS! Aluminyze offers the most unique, vivid, and durable medium available to display your most meaningful photographs and artwork. The innovative and revolutionary process, in which your image is actually infused into a sheet of aluminum, yields a rich piece of art that can easily be hung or upraised without a frame for a sleek and contemporary look. A 3/4" wood wall mount and wall bumpers are included so your artwork is ready to hang when it arrives.
